The criteria for applying includes the current state of your startup, time requirements, fees, etc. Please read through these requirements to confirm your eligibility.
Check the map and choose the one of eight regions in the US where the majority of your team lives and/or works.
Choose one of eight technology categories which best fits your product or service.
You must create a profile first and then create a team.
Note: You will need a minimum of two team members prior to submitting your final application on May 1.

Reserve roughly two hours for this process. You can access and edit your application until May 1, 5:00pm Pacific Daylight Time.
Your application process will be considered complete once you have paid the entry fee based on the fee schedule.
Note: Upon submitting your payment, you may request to be matched to a Cleantech Open mentor
You can start your application at any time and revise it as much as you’d like until May 1, 5:00pm Pacific Daylight Time.
Judges will review all the applications. All teams that are eligible to continue as a Participant Team will be notified and interviewed prior to starting the Accelerator.
BECOMING A PARTICIPANT: If you are selected as a Participant Team each member of your team will be required to pay a participation fee in order to participate in the Accelerator. Note: At least one team member must participate in each of the required Accelerator Activities. Review the key dates for required activities and dates. Involve as many of your team members as you can in every activity as our unique professional development program will boost your startup to the next level.
